Happy Birthday to my best friend and hubby Rudy! I love you more today than the day we married. You love me just the way I am. Through my weirdness and flaws. You “get” me!

We have been through some fierce trials. Our Lord blessed us through them all.

Thanks sweetheart, love you! Hope you have a wonderful birthday!

What Makes A Dad
~Author Unknown

God took the strength of a mountain,The majesty of a tree,The warmth of a summer sun,The calm of a quiet sea,The generous soul of nature,The comforting arm of night,The wisdom of the ages,The power of the eagle’s flight,The joy of a morning in spring,The faith of a mustard seed,The patience of eternity,The depth of a family need,Then God combined these qualities, And then there was nothing more to add,He knew His masterpiece was complete,And so, He called it – Dad!PicsArt_1402794170553Love you Dad!

  •  Nov, 12th: All of my cousins!
  • Nov, 13th: Our pets!
  • Nov. 14th: A roof over my head! It’s boggles my brain at times to think of all the people that can’t say the same thing. our house isn’t anything fancy, but it’s exactly what we need. It’s perfect for us. Even with that, we are getting ready to move, trying to at least. Not that we don’t love it any more, but trying to get moved 40-45 mins east closer to my family. Prayers for that! I’ll keep you posted!
  • Nov. 15th: Food on our table! We have been in some very tight finacial situations and have never gone a day without food! Thank you Lord!

Day 13: Thirty Days of Thanks

I’m going to list something I’m thankful for each day of November.

  • Nov, 13th: Our pets! Since Rudy and I have been together we have had 12 dogs and cats and I brought a bird into the mix. At our largest group at one time we had four dogs and four cats (and our daughter wanted a “pet”). We are now down to two cats Patch and Binks. We would like to get another dog, but that is on hold until we get moved (here someday I hope). It’s hard being without a dog, we never have been since we’ve started dating in 1988. Anyway, i can’t image my life with pets, especially dogs and cats.

How many, and what kind, of pets do you have?
